We're taking flight with this month's theme!
Here are the four prompts for April:
If you're new to the newsletter, how you interpret the prompts is entirely up to you – the goal is to simply to spark your creativity on those days when you feel stuck. Here are a few loose suggestions to get you started if you're not sure where to begin.
Butterfly Garden: Butterflies on flowers, butterflies made of flowers, a butterfly and flower pattern - this one is pretty straightforward. Have fun with it!
Midnight Flight: Take inspiration from the things that take flight at night - months, fireflies, owls, etc. You could also take inspiration from air travel or even marvelous mythical creatures with wings (dragons, anyone?!).
Fly!: This one can be interpreted in a number of ways. You can stick with birds, insects and other flying creatures, you can choose to letter an uplifting inspirational quote (of the "wind beneath my wings" variety), or you can lean into the slang version of "fly" (meaning something hip, cool and stylish). I'm looking forward to seeing where you go with this one.
Feathered Friends: Anything with feathers is fair game... go ahead, put a bird on it! :)
