I was commissioned to hand letter and illustrate the cover of New York Times Bestseller
Julie Buxbaum's upcoming book titled Year On Fire. The young adult novel is about secrets, trust, friendship, family, love and acceptance. I used a bold lettering style juxtaposed
with a fragile paper heart engulfed in paper flames to allude to the all-encompassing
emotions explored in the story.
