Those of you who have been here for a while will notice that I'm switching things up with the palette this month. I want to create more flexibility… so rather than providing a limited palette (with a maximum of 8 or 9 colors), I'm providing a 'starter palette' so you can add as many colors as you'd like to make it your own!
When I was creating thumbnail sketches for this month's Fall-themed artwork, I found myself wanting to use 4 or 5 different shades of orange and 3 or 4 different shades of yellow… not to mention all the reds and browns that are so perfect for Autumn art. So I thought - why limit ourselves?!
Feel free to use these colors as a starting point then see where it takes you! You can see how I incorporated a couple extra oranges and a few shades of brown to round out the palette in this drawing.
I can't wait to see what you come up with!
